“Prevent unexpected downtime, sticking valves, and other mechanical issues in tanks and reservoirs by removing varnish through state-of-the-art ion-exchange adsorption systems.
Remove oxidation plated inside your turbine lube system, including bearings and servo valves, both in operation and down.
Conco’s Varnish Absorption System (VAS) uses a granular adsorbent resin and is fitted with a high-efficiency micro-glass filter element to remove hard particulate contamination. With a flow rate of 10 GPM, this unit is outfitted with both pre- and post-filter sample ports for quick non-intrusive sampling. Explosion proof, NEMA 4 and NEMA 7 (HAZOP) rated skids are available and fuse protected electrical system with alarm lights and auto-shutdown when filters are plugged.
Features include:
- Side-stream filtration units filter with system online
- Auto shutdown for high filter differential pressure and low flow
- Fuse protected electrical system with easy to use, plug-and-play equipment design
- Uses a granular adsorbent resin and fitted with a high-efficiency micro-glass filter element to remove hard particulate contamination
- Outfitted with both pre and post filter sample ports for quick non-intrusive sampling
- Achieve desired results typically within 3 to 4 weeks
- NEMA 4 and NEMA 7 (HAZOP) rated skids available for rental or purchase with personnel available for testing, setup, and servicing of units
- Engineers are available to identify the cause of varnish buildup and recommend strategic maintenance plans to mitigate varnish. Including Mobil Solvancer (solvency enhancer) and Fluitec Decon HD for higher viscosity fluids.”
